Treatment usually includes therapy, medication, and regular counseling to ensure wellbeing of patient.
Bipolar disorder is one of the primary psychiatric conditions, with an intense mood swing that changes from a manic phase of elevated energy to a depressive episode of deep sadness. The chronic condition has complex neurobiological mechanisms involving neurotransmitter disruption, brain structural changes, and genetic factors. Advances in precision medicine are revolutionizing treatment approaches, providing a more individualized approach combining medication, therapy, and neurostimulation. At the Psychiatry and Addiction World Conference (PAWC) 2025, we will present groundbreaking research on bipolar disorder, focusing on innovative diagnostics and next-generation treatments.
