Translational Psychiatry

At the Psychiatry & Addiction World Conference (PAWC 2025), “Understanding Addiction: Approaches to Drug Abuse Prevention” will showcase the critical role of Translational Psychiatry in addiction science. It transforms new psychiatric research into innovative and evidence-based treatments, combining knowledge from neurobiology, pharmacology, and psychosocial realms. It focuses on understanding the brain's pathways and behaviors and various environmental influences in developing effective personalized strategies for preventing and treating substance-related disorders. This will uphold Translational Psychiatry to change the face of addiction care and improve the outcome of it globally for a patient.
